About me
I'm a first year Ph.D. student in EECS at MIT, focusing on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) research.
I work in the CSAIL (Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory).
My broad research interests lie in HCI and creativity support tools, with the goal of supporting human creativity by realizing the full potential of the web. I am interested in designing web/ubiquitous applications that align with people's everyday creative activities, such as design, programming, learning, writing, conducting research, etc.
Recently, I had a great summer in the USER Group at the IBM Almaden Research Center. I did my Master's in Computer Science at Stanford University. For two years, I worked in the HCI Group with Prof. Scott Klemmer on Bricolage, a design tool that leverages existing examples.
Originally from Korea, I used to work as an embedded software engineer at SystemBase in Seoul, Korea for three years. I have a B.S. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Seoul National University.
