– comma(,), dash(-), semicolon(;), colon(:) 등의 용법
– 문장 구성시 주의할 점 (수의 일치, 정확한 대명사 사용 등)

2. Elementary Principles of Composition
– 문단의 구성과 작문의 주요원칙
– 수동태와 부정형, 모호한 표현, 중복되는 표현, 초점없이 길게 늘어나는 문장의 자제
– 강조하고자 하는 내용은 문장의 뒷부분에 배치

– 구어체 자제, 제목, 여백, 숫자표기, 괄호, 인용부호, 각주 등의 처리

– 자주 틀리는 표현들
